Winter Arriving on Ben Nevis November 2020
Its been such a difficult year for so many people and staying motivated through the second lock- down is not easy. The Autumn saw some beautiful days up here in the Highlands and between restrictions APM managed to get a few more days rock climbing in the sun before the English Lockdown came into force in November. Continually planning adventures and the need to keep fit has seen Adele plan a number of mountain bike tours on the Great Glen Way and the Speyside Way.
The snow has been late to arrive but a solo outing onto Ledge Route Ben Nevis was promising with snow down to 900m. Putting crampons back on and getting an ice axe out was delightful and with the weather to stay cold for the next week lets hope winter arrives properly. For many getting to the Highlands is impossible at the moment but keep faith the mountains will be here when we can all move around again.

Adele, I wanted to say thanks for your guiding on skye at the weekend. We all had a phenomenal time and will be returning again as soon as possible. Your guiding was relaxed and very professional we all felt very at ease all the time.
