Scotland Mountain Ridges Scrambling courses October 2016 Places Available
Before the dark nights set in and the winter snows arrive October can be a great time to explore some of the finest Scottish mountain ridge scrambles.
Some of the possible options include:
- Curved Ridge (Glencoe)
- Carn Mor Dearg Arete (Ben Nevis)
- The Aonach Eagach (Glencoe)
- Ledge Route (Ben Nevis)
- Liathatch and the Am Fasarinen Pinnacles (Torridon)
- Traverse of Sgurr nan Gillian (Isle of Skye)
- Clach Glas and Blaven (Traverse)
With a small group of three clients it is also possible to take on the groups personal requests and tackle some of the more technical scrambles. During the course scrambling skills will be taught so that you will feel confident to go and tackle more scrambles on your own in the future.
As long as you are reasonably fit have some hillwalking experience and do not mind a little bit of exposure then you will find this an exhilarating four days.
