Ten years post Everest and Scottish Winter Conditions Feb 2018

This year is shaping up to be one of the best I remember as the hills are covered in their white coat. Conditions have been tricky with high avalanche risk and gale force winds but all the APM clients have enjoyed these truly Scottish winter conditions.  Last week Janet and I celebrated our 10 year Anniversary of Mt Everest with two wild days out on the hill, whilst Connor guided Mandy and Mark safely up Ben Nevis and Mo ran an introductory three-day course for Solenn and Niamh. Heading North I also managed to grab two days in Glen Sheil with Simon and Alastair and have to say had one of my best Scottish days out ever on the Forcan Ridge.

It looks like conditions will last well into April so if you feel you’ve missed out I have availability from the 4th April onwards.

Moving Forward to the Spring and Summer I still have some availability in May and June for Scottish Scrambling and the Skye Cuillin.

Dates for this year’s Rum and Skye trip will be announced soon and this time will be in September when the midges have gone.
