Set for Nepal Mera Peak 24th October

To end the Autumn season of Scottish rock and scrambling we had a few breaks in the weather and managed a day out at Dunkeld climbing in T-shirts and a couple of misty days around Fort William doing the Aonach Eagach Ridge and Scimitar ridge. This together with days working in Cotswold Outdoor ( Fort William) http://www.cotswoldoutdoor.com and talking to the students at West Highland College http://www.whc.uhi.ac.uk has rounded off the Autumn well.

On Friday Ted and I leave to lead an Expedition to Mera Peak in Nepal. This will be our fourth expedition to the Peak which we summited first in 1998. Hopefully when I return there will be white stuff on the hills but before getting stuck in some sun and rock beckons.

I shall be back on the 20th November so if you have an inquiry or want to book some Scottish winter mountaineering then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I have internet access.

Hope everyone gets some good weather whilst I am away.
